We had a great Xmas at this hotel. The breakfast was scrumptious, we loved the Japanese-style food. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the bus stop which allowed us to explore easily the surrounding mountains. , the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable during our stay.
While the room was cozy and nice, the temperature control was challenging to handle. The heater was too hot, but without it, the room was too cold.

Best aspects? the hotel is perfectly located for a skiing trip, just a stone's throw from the main bus terminal and all the best ski resorts in the area. the staff is so friendly and always on hand to help, whether you need recommendations for the best slopes or you just want to chat with some locals. And the breakfast is hearty and delicious, a great way to start a long day on the slopes.
Worst aspects? the bathroom is definitely on the small side, but that's to be expected when you're in Japan.

Located in the heart of a popular skiing destination, this hotel provides easy access to multiple ski resorts via the nearby bus terminal. Rooms are small but functional, with everything in working order. the friendly staff offer shuttle services, recommendations for local eateries, and a drying room for ski gear. Breakfast is included and provides hearty sustenance for a day on the slopes.
The hotel does not offer rooftop access during the winter months, which limits the opportunity to enjoy the stunning views of the Japanese Alps.
